We are proud to be announced the 2014 TGAA winner for the best showerscreen or splashback project for a slumped showerscreen installed in a Wynyard home.
The brief was for a shower panel that was not “off the shelf” glass, something that was original and no one could replicate. Hand made slumped glass was the answer.
The pattern was to be a simple design that obscured vision through the glass but not make the room feel smaller. Ripples were used for the majority of the pattern to add some definition, with the areas in between simply being the pattern left from the sand bed.
The 10mm clear float glass was slumped in our kilns, then toughened to meet Australian Standards.
