We are super excited to be awarded the Tasmanian Winner of the 2015 AGGA Most Striking Use of Glass Architecturally in a home below $20,000 for our Slumped Glass installed in a Wynyard home.

The idea of this project was to block off vision into a walk-in pantry from the dining room window, along with a unique finish to a pantry cupboard. The window was glazed using 5mm clear glass that was slumped in our kilns. The pantry cupboard doors were 6mm super clear glass that were slumped with the client’s young son’s “recipe” of how to make a cake. These panels were then painted with a metallic colour to highlight the lettering and glazed into aluminium sliding door frames.

The client was extremely happy with the result of the project and will have a one-off personalised piece in their home for years to come.
